Horrors of the traditional Chinese literary work Strange Tales from Liaozhai fade away, as the fantastical imageries rebirth on the contemporary stage through modern technologies. Would projection techniques and electronic communication services — inventions of the new age which we now take for granted — have seemed just as incredible as fantasies in the ancient times?

Three women and one man play roles of  respective mythical figures, and the dance work combines fantastic elements such as mirrors, wings, shadows, and light; the mellifluous singing voice flows as the audience experiences an esoteric dream.
