Camouflage2015

Production

The framed white stage contains the borderless subconsciousness, and inside along with our secrets and weaknesses, borns the indispensable “camouflage” we use while facing pain and fear in life.

Camouflage centres around the topic of solitude, portraying internal dialogues and imaginations, and presents delicate, complicated emotive transformations by using emblematic stage props such as trench coats, a red balloon, and a sliding long table.

Manifesting the chaos, overlapping, and back-and-forth of the state of mind, the dance work demonstrates the multi-facets of humans, the thin line between illusion and reality, and shows that the falseness we apply to conceal has gradually merged with the truth after inner struggles and at last recognising with oneself.
